We had a great stay in this hotel located in the heart of the old district, just a few minutes away from everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and had all the basic facilities. Breakfast was simple but included in the price. We also appreciated the fact that the hotel was trustworthy and let us leave our bags there while we went on excursions.
Nothing to fault. This hotel had a great location and amazing staff that made our stay very pleasant.

This hotel in the heart of the Centro Historico district is an absolute gem. The location is perfect, just a few blocks away from Plaza Grande and surrounded by lovely architecture. The staff are incredibly helpful and offer great advice on local attractions and day trips. One highlight was the organized day trip to Otovalo and Mitad del Mundo, where we experienced an excellent market and the fascinating equator line. The rooms, though small, are comfortable and well-equipped, with excellent shower pressure and reliable internet. Breakfast is included and always includes freshly squeezed juice. There's even a restaurant nearby with live music and a stunning rooftop view of the city. I would highly recommend this hotel for an enjoyable and memorable stay in this historic area of town.
All was perfect.

The location was very central, and it had a nice courtyard.
The traffic outside is very bad and getting a taxi is hard.

Location is fantastic. If you are interested in Old Town Quito, this is in it's epicenter. $10 to airport, $3 to Teleferico, walking distance to Plaza Grande, Voto Catedral, Plaza San Francisco.
Second stay here in last three months. Room this time was in front of building (second level), on Mejia Street. Very noisy - fun in the afternoon (soak in city life) - annoying when you are trying to catch some sleep. My bathroom had considerable mildew on majority of ceiling. Quite an eyesore and a little unsettling.

The Hotel Catedral has an unbeatable location, with the main plaza just a few minutes away. The staff is friendly, helpful, and ensures your safety by keeping an eye on the main doors in the afternoon. The hotel offers basic breakfast and has a restaurant. Trustworthy to leave bags while on excursions.
There was nothing I didn't like.

I recently stayed at a hotel in the Centro de Historico district within the historical center of Quito and I had a great experience. the hotel offered excellent value for money, with affordable prices that fit within my budget. Additionally, the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The location of the hotel was ideal, as it was within walking distance of many attractions in the area. Furthermore, the rooms were well-maintained and had a small balcony, providing a lovely view of the surrounding area. The breakfast included was a nice touch, offering a variety of options to start the day off right. I had a fantastic stay at this hotel.
All aspects of my stay at this hotel were satisfactory, nothing to improve.

Location, location! Could not have been better situated in Old Town. I WILL stay here again!
No window in my room, but it did help to keep the street noise low. A small desk would have been nice.

The hotel's location is great, with everything in the Old Town within walking distance. It's particularly useful that there's a restaurant nearby called Vista Hermosa providing excellent views. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the staff is pleasant. As far as breakfast goes, it's not anything to write home about, but it'll suffice.
The only downside to this hotel is that it can be a bit noisy.

The breakfast was very good and the desk staff very helpful.
My room had a window into another inside room or hall. It was large (3 twin beds) and plain with no character.
